Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:
Waterman, Corp., Arthur T. - Mrs. Mary Waterman, mother, 87-1? 58th Ave., Elmhurst. |
Arthur T. Waterman was probably born on 04 January 1922 in New York. His parents were Arthur and Mary Waterman, nee Finigan. He entered the Army on 10 May 1943 and served with the US Army Air Corps and was fallen on 07 August 1944 in France. He was interred in the Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, Chemung, New York on 26 January 1950. |
