A particularly sad death occurred at the Windsor Hospital on the 10th instant, when Miss Mabel Amelia Voller, aged 16 years, youngest daughter of Mrs. M. Voller, of Freeman's Reach, succumbed to an attack of typhoid fever. Three weeks prior to her death she was brought to the hospital, and in less than a fortnight after her admission she appeared to be improving. During Friday and Saturday of last week, however, the patient appeared to grow worse, and a total collapse took her off shortly after midnight on the 9th instant. The excessive heat just about that time no doubt had a distressing effect on the patient, and perhaps overcame her. Her death was a terrible shock to her widowed mother and brothers and sisters, who have the sympathy of the whole community.

Windsor, New South Wales, Australia
Including the deceased, Mrs. Voller had ten children, six boys and four girls. One of her daughters, Mrs. Cullen, is in West Australia. A son, Prosper, lives in Queensland, and William at Burrawang. The other boys, Ophir, Gus, Marshall, and Algie are all well-known around the district. The late Miss Voller was liked by all who knew her. She was a quiet girl, a good daughter and the mother's pride and help in her old age.
The funeral took place on Monday last. The remains were interred in the Church of England Cemetery at Wilberforce, the rector of the parish, Rev. W. S. Newton, M. A., officiating at the burial. Mr. T. Collison conducted the funeral. Many beautiful wreaths were sent to the bereaved family by sympathising friends.
