Deaths and Dispatches
Memorial Cards
Edward, Jemima and Frederick Phillips
In loving memory
of
Jemima Phillips,
Gwernygwythy, Whittington,
who died April 25th, 1917,
aged 60 years;
Interred at Whittington Cemetery, April 28th.
She is not dead, but sleepeth:
A sleep, how calm, how blest;
When Christ the spirit keepeth,
The wearied frame hath rest.
A voice we loved is still'd;
A place is vacant on our hearth,
Which never can be filled.
In Loving Memory of
Corp. Fred Phillips. M. M.
6th K. S. L. I.
who died from Pneumonia after being
wounded in action.
January 7th, 1917.
Aged 23 years.
In the midst of life God claimed him,
In the midst of his manhood days;
None knew him but to love him.
None spoke of him but to praise.
