Trewman & Exeter Flying Post, January 18, 1838

In Whitecross Street, Plymouth, Mr Harris, hairdresser, aged 74 years.

The Windsor and Richmond Gazette, Saturday, December 16, 1899
Windsor, New South Wales, Australia

The death of Mr. Thomas Smith Hall occurred on the 7th instant, at Ebenezer, where he had lived for very many years and was respected by all sections of the community.
The late Mr. Hall, who had attained his 77th year, was one of the family of that name whose lives have been wrapped up in the history of the Hawkesbury district for several generations, and as pioneer settlers did yeoman service for their country. It was such men as the late Mr Hall who made New South Wales what it is today.
Two of his nephews, Messrs. Brinsley and Norman Hall, J.'s P., are worthy and popular members of the family, and both are "on the soil" producing their quota of the colony's wealth.
The remains of the late Mr Hall were interred in the historic Presbyterian cemetery at Ebenezer, the Rev. C. A. White, B. A., conducting the burial. Mr. Collison carried out the funeral.
