89 Boro, L. I. Soldiers are killed in Action.
Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:

Biesiadecki, Sgt., Leo - Mrs. Victoria Biesiadecki, mother, 62 16th St.

Leo Biesiadecki was born about 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. His parents were Anthony and Victoria Biesiadecki. Leo Biesiadecki fought with the 338th Infantry Regiment, 85th Infantry Division and felt on 16 August 1944 in Italy. He is interred in the Florence American Cemetery in Italy. He awarded the Purple Heart.
