Her parents were Arthur Frederick Churchill Tollemache and Susan Eleanor Tollemache, nee Campbell. She was married to Guy Edward Pelham-Clinton at St. George Hanover Square, London, England on 30 July 1918. Two children are known: Edward Charles (1920-1988), and Alastair Henry (1923-1943).
