William Henry Thompson, the son, was born on 28 July 1852 and was baptised in St. Peters, New South Wales, Australia on 12 September 1852. He was married against wishes of both families to his cousin Agnes Lily Rush in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia on 23 July 1879. Their children were Ethel Mary (1880-1881), Herbert William (1881-1962), Arthur Waltham (1883-1883), Raymond Walter (1884-1937), Allan Keith (1887-1896), and Clarence Waltham (1889-1889). William Henry died in Randwick, New South Wales on 02 November 1922.

Agnes Lilly Rush was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 02 September 1857. Her parents were Isaac Waltham Rush and Rachel Elizabeth Wyatt Gould. She died in Randwick, New South Wales, Australia on 13 June 1926.
