Mary Ann Thackwell was born in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire, England on 13 June 1696 and was baptised in Redmarley D'abitot, Gloucestershire, England on the same day. Her parents were Thomas and Mary Thackwell, nee Sheen. Mary was married to William Clifford in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire, England on 30 October 1720. She died in Stow on the Wold, Gloucestershire, England on 27 August 1773.
