innkeeper of Falmouth, were:
George Tarraway, Petty Officer in her Majesty's Royal Navy; both of Devonport.
Remark: George was aged 33 in 1901, born in Falmouth and a Petty Officer IC1 (sic).
It's possible that Mary Tarraway was present at Joseph Medlin daughter's birth
and could possibly be his sister and the wife of George Tarraway.
In 1891 Mary was living at 138 Woodlane Terrace, Falmouth as a servant.

That marriage was registered in Devonport, Devonshire, England during the third quarter of 1915. A daughter of the couple is known: Violet May (1917-2004). Robert Tarraway died on board of H. M. S. "Prize" on 14 August 1917. The ship was destroyed by the German submarine U-43. His body couldn't be recovered. |
