Elizabeth Sealy Extracts from the Bridgwater Mercury 15 October 1874. Charge of Perjury - Elizabeth Sealy, a married woman, living Silver-Street, was charged on the information of Mr Jeffry Denman, landlord of the White Lion Inn, High Street with committing wilful and corupt perjury on the 14th September last. Mr Reed appeared for the prosecution, and Mr Chapaman for the defence. Mrs Sealy was the wife of a porter living in Silver-street, where Mrs Snook, wife of the boots!! at the Swan at Wells, also lived and where Mr Deaman occupied a stable and a store. |
