John Campbell Reid was born on 14 June 1816 and was baptised in the parish of St. Andrew in Great Yeldham, Essex on the same day. His parents were William and Sarah Reid. He married Barbara Hudson in the third quarter of 1852.
In the 1861 Census is his wife Barbara mentioned and his four years old daughter Margaret A. Reid. John Campbell Reid's place of birth is stated as Scotland. In the 1881 Census is Barbara not mentioned but his daughter Margaret. His place of birth is still Scotland. |
