The birth of Edward Theodore Park was registered in Sunderland, Durham, England during the first quarter of 1904. His parents were John Winter Park and Edith Maud Hannah Park, nee Hauff. He was married to Myra Victoria ??? in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Birkenhead, County of Chester, England on 30 October 1932. The marriage was divorced in 1939. He was a marine engineer and went to sea for a number of shipping companies until he settled permanently in Australia in June 1937. His brother and some uncles already lived in Melbourne. He was married to Helena Christina Fraillon in Australia in 1940. He died in Malvern, Victoria, Australia in 1976.

Her two eleven-year-old nieces, Celestine and Jacqueline Fraillon, attended Christine Helen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Fraillon, St. Kilda, at her wedding to Edward Theodore Park, Yallourn, elder son of Mrs. J. Dudgeon, Hay, Hereford. England, and the late Mr. J. W. Park at the Presbyterian Church, East St. Kilda. Rev. S. L. Mackenzie officiated, and Mr. A. L. Park was best man.
Three camellias held in place the beautiful Brussels lace veil that fell in soft folds over the shoulders of the bride's off-white satin gown, and a long trail of camellias fell to the hem of her frock. The two girls wore pink taffetas frocks decorated with blue velvet bows and held posies of Cecil Brunner roses and delphiniums.
