The remains of Mrs. Mary Ann Palgrave (wife of Mr. John Palgrave, a Selby Poor Law Guardian), who died in the Selby Cottage Hospital last week as the result of injuries to her head, were yesterday afternoon laid to rest in the new part of Selby Cemetery, a large number of people being present. The Rev. C. E. Greaves, Wesleyan superintendent minister, conducted the service at the chapel in the cemetery and at the graveside. The husband, who was the chief mourner, was moved to tears.
