Son on murder charge
George Alfred Ninham (36), solicitor's clerk, was remanded at Hastings yesterday on a charge of murdering his mother and attemting to commit suicide. Mrs. Ninham was found battered to death at Mount Pleasant-road, Hastings, on October 28, and her son was found unconscious over a gas stove in the scullery.
