At New Street, on the 2nd instant, by the Rev. Mr. Reid, U. P. Church (United Presbyterian Church), Mr John McMillan, saddler to Ann, sixth daughter of Mr. Wm. Milroy, shoemaker.
John McMillan was born abt. 1840 and resided with his parents James and Mary McMillan at Cairrifield, Kirkinner, Wigtownshire, Scotland in 1841. He was married to Ann Milroy in Penninghame, Wigtownshire, Scotland on 02 December 1859.
Following children of the couple could be found: Barbara McMillan (born 04 December 1857), Mary McMillan (born 19 February 1860). Both daughters were born in Penninghame, Wigtown, Scotland. |
