George Auld Mathie was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland on 11 July 1833. His parents were John and Margaret Mathie, nee McAlister. He was married to Janet Gilchrist in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland on 30 November 1859. He died in Glasgow, Strathclyde, Scotland on 18 October 1898.
Janet Gilchrist was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland on 04 May 1835. Her parents were David and Janet Gilchrist, nee Andrew. She died on 10 August 1901. |
