At Damhead, on the 24th ult., by the Rev. William Jeffrey, Riccarton, Mr. Hugh Mair, Ditton, to Agnes, second daughter of Mr. Thos. Montgomery, cattle dealer.
Hugh Mair was born on 03 June 1834 and was baptised in Riccarton, Ayrshire, Scotland on 21 June 1834. His parents were Andrew Mair and Janet Taylor. He was married to Agnes Montgomery in Riccarton, Ayrshire, Scotland on 24 November 1859.
