House struck at Murton During the severe thunderstorm which passed over Murton Colliery yesterday afternoon, a house occupied by Mr. A. Johnson, Talbot Street, was struck by lightning, and the windows were broken and other damage done. Mrs. Johnson and four children who were in the house at the time of the mishap escaped with a slight shock only. |
