Accident at Dudley Colliery
On Monday afternoon, whilst a young man named Albert Hutchins, residing with his parents at Railway Row, Dudley, was following his employment as a coal hewer in the part of the mine known as Story Main Coal Yard Seam, a quantity of stone came away and nearly buried him. Help was soon at hand, and, after four hours of incessant labour, he was extricated from his perilous position, and speedily conveyed home, where his injuries were attended to by Dr. A. D. Kelly. |
