I have Edwins parents as James Homer who married Sarah Tibbettes in 1814,
but no other children for them.

Sarah Homer born about 1815 in Birmingham.

Sarah Homer was born on 18 December 1815 and baptised on 26 September 1817 in Saint Phillip's Church, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Her parents were Joseph and Ann Homer, nee Clift. She was married to Thomas Knowles in the cathedral of St. Philip in Birmingham, Warwick, England on on 02 October 1836.

It's confusing. It seems a second Sarah Homer had exist at that time. She was born in London and was also married to a Thomas Knowles. She also lived in Birmingham. The children are different.
