Alice Hayes Readers who donated to the upkeep of a children home for sick children. It was likely for the "Little Folk's Home" (convalescent home), Bexhill, Sussex, 1909-1971. Received by December 1920. Alice Hayes, Kitty Blunden, Doris Bowen and Kitty Staplehurst. We have formed a club and call it The Star Club. During the winter months we made dolls clothes and other useful things so that we could have a sale of work. Altogether we made 10s 6d. We hope that it will help the Little Folks Home. |
