Norman Greenwood, John Sanderson, Jonathan Woodrow, Richard Cluley
Alleged Theft at Saltburn

At Gisborough Police Court yesterday, John Sanderson, fish dealer, Lingdale, and Norman Greenwood, window cleaner, Saltburn, were commited for trial on a charge of breaking into Jonathan Woodrow's Cat Nab pavilion, Old Saltburn, and stealing cigarettes, matches and chocolate, to the value of £2 5s, on 25 November.
Police Sergt. Keown, Brotton, said Greenwood told him that half of the missing articles were at his house.
Later Sanderson was arrested. At the police station Greenwood said, "We both broke into the shop and stole the articles." Sanderson had nothing to say to the charge.
Greenwood was fined 10s for having stolen a sack of coal from Richard Cluley, at Old Saltburn, on 24 November.
