An old soldier's death Fall out of bed through a window A singular accident last night caused the death of David Dall, army pensioner. Dall went to bed at Portsmouth, where he was lodging, and rolled himself up, soldier fashion, in a blanket, and lay down on the bed, which was on a level with the window. In his sleep Dall rolled through the window and fell to the pavement in the street below, sustaining injuries from which he died shortly afterwards. |
