1914 - 1918  and  1939 - 1945

Inscription and Names WW II War Memorial WW I and WW II Inscription

In ever
loving memory of
the men of this town
who gave their lives
for their country's
sake in the Great War
1914 - 1919
and the World War
1939 - 1945

They whom this memorial
commemorates were numbered
among those who at the call
of king and country left
all that was dear to them
endured hardness faced
dangers and finally passed
out of the sight of men by
the path of duty and self
sacrifice giving up their own
lives that others might live
in freedom.
