1914 - 1918, 1939 - 1945  and  1982

War Memorial in 1955 War Memorial WW I and WW II

The memorial was originally situated in the old Village Hall. The Building burned down and the memorial was moved to the present position in the Mountain Rangers Social Club.
The left picture shows Mrs Pheobe Roberts unveiling the memorial on 11 Nov 1955. Mrs Roberts was affectionally known by everyone as "Aunt Phoebe".
