The crew of the AVRO Lancaster DV334 WS-C was serving with 9th Squadron of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. The aircraft took off from Bardney on a mission to Berlin. On the return the aircraft crashed on the approach to Gamston airfield in Nottinghamshire. |
