St George's Chapel is the Cambridgeshire Regimental Chapel.

The following plaque is to find at the entrance to St. George's chapel:
Entrance plaque at St. George's Chapel St George's Chapel commemorates
those who fought and died with the
Cambridgeshire Regiment.
You may wish to light a candle to remember
someone in particular who died as a result of war.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Dear Lord, we remember with thanksgiving those
who gave their lives for our freedom. We pray for all
still caught up in war and we long for a time when
Christ's Kingdom of justice and peace will fill the
whole earth.    Amen.

Many thanks to Carolyn Day.
She provided the pictures of the panels and also transcribed them.
A horrible and time-consuming work. Thank you, Carolyn.

Also thanks to Mr. J. J. Myers.
He gave us the permission to use his pictures on this page.
Mr. Myers uploaded to Flickr hundreds of pictures of his travels through the UK and foreign countries.

This page is dedicated to the 10 million victims of World War I and 60 million victims of World War II.
We should always remember the immense grief and loss each war brought to the world.
