In loving memory of George Clowe who died at Craystones, 15th April 1910, aged 50 years. Elizabeth Clowe his grand-daughter who died 31st October 1903, aged 2 years. Also his two sons Pts. David & Simeon Clowe 6. K. O. S. B., who were both killed in action at Loos 25th Sep. 1915, aged 21 and 19 years respectively also Catherine Clowe, wife of the above George Clowe, who died at Annan Road, Gretna 5th Aug. 1941, in her 83rd year. A local Canadian newspaper reported following: Private D. Armstrong, No. 229384, is suffering from gunshot wounds in the head and leg. He went away with Lieut.-Col. F. J. Murray and before enlisting lived with his sister at 1639 Pacific avenue. Remark: A 1639, Pacific avenue is existing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. |
