Stafford, 25 June, 1893; educated Grosvenor College, Carlisle, and Brompton Secondary School; joined the Sportsman's Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers 15 January I915; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flandsws from November 1915, and was killed in action at Beaumont Hamel 13 November 1916. His Captain wrote: "He died bravely fighting for King, Home and Country." Unm.
