NELSON SOLDIER'S DEATH FROM WOUNDS
Mr. Calvert, 71, Castle-street, Nelson, has received information of the death from wounds of his son, Private Guy Calvert (22), of East Lancashire Regiment. He joined the forces in September, 1914, and took part in the operations at Gallipoli. He was subsequently drafted to Mesopotamia. He was formerly a weaver in the employ of Messrs. Clegg, Parkinson, and Co., Valley Mills, Nelson.
